Peridot has always been one of my favorite characters, second to Pearl, and I never EVER expected her to get so much focus and such a clear, strong character arc this early on in the current season. But she did! And it felt so well-earned. It's been quite a thrill seeing her grow out of her old homeworld mindset and truly embrace all that the crystal gems (and the earth) has to offer her.
